Responsibilities:

  • Develop manual test cases to increase regression coverage as well as new functionality testing.

  • Execute manual test cases including ad-hoc and exploratory testing as needed.

  • Document and/or review testing results, working closely with Developers, Producers & Project Managers to resolve reported issues.

  • Participate in the project flow providing feedback in all areas, paying close attention to high-risk areas and communicating testing concerns.

  • Use bug tracking software (JIRA) to track and report problems.

  • Work with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.

  • Develop a general understanding of eCommerce infrastructure / integrations.

Candidate:

  • 6+ months agency experience - social media management on a variety of platforms, digital content strategy / development / distribution, digital marketing, digital PR, etc.

  • Enjoys researching, story-mining, analysing information, problem-solving, etc.

  • Understands the cadence of how an online community ebbs and flows, on its website and across social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

  • A strong writer, able to create compelling content, but also able to spot stories that the audience would find interesting.

  • Able to foster relationships within the agency in order to surface the stories, priorities and information that will serve their communities and clients well.

  • Able to communicate ideas in writing & verbally.

  • A good understanding of and interest in the consumer tech space and social media.

  • Relevant degree highly regarded.

Role:

  • Help research, draft and manage content for client's social media channels (and occasionally blogs).

  • Exhibit a solid understanding of key client information including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services offered, key customers and competitors in the marketplace.

  • Analyse the online conversation to help guide engagement strategy.

  • Assist with influencer engagement efforts.

  • Help recommend and manage social enhancements to websites & applications.

  • Help prepare / review activity reports and status reports for clients.

  • Plan ahead for social amplification support for key client events and milestones.

  • Provide client service support: attend meetings, meet deadlines, troubleshoot problems, and proactively draft agendas / recaps.
